The Bio of Joseph Peebles Joseph Peebles is currently a 25-year public accountant. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and the National Assoc. of Public Accountants. In 2009, Peebs was nominated for Man of the Year and was inducted into The American Biological Institute's Hall of Fame for Athletics and Technological Innovations. Addtionally, in 2005 Peebs was awarded Businessman of the Year and in 2006 the NRCC awarded him the metal of Congressional Distinction. Peebs is also a five-time published author. His books are Hannibal: The Ultimate Warrior, The Adventures of New Jack Swing, Judgment Day: Get Jack Swing, Tuscaloosa. and the Stickman & the Crow. Recently, his books "The Stickman and the Crow" and his new Stickman book, "Full House Throttle; The Stickman Rides Again" has been picked up by his new publisher, PublishAmerica. Both are scheduled for a 2010 Fall release. He has also written four full-length screenplays. His screenplays are Hannibal, Judgment Day: Get Jack Swing, The Stickman and the Crow, and Cleopatra. Peebs is a graduate of the University of West Florida. He has a degree in Accounting and Creative Journalism. Currently, he is an online student at UCLA within the film writing department. His script Hannibal made the semi-final round in the 2004 American Accolades script writing competition (top 15% out of 700 scripts submitted worldwide) and continued to compete for top honors. His book The Adventures of New Jack Swing was the runner-up finalist in the 2004 DIY book writing competition. In September of 2005, his book The Stickman & the Crow won 2nd place in the USA Book News fictional writing category. Peebs is also a master's track & field world-class athlete. He is a four-time outdoor National Champion and a six-time Mid-America outdoor champion. In the 2008 Master's National championship, his 4x100 meter relay team and his 4x400 meter relay team won double gold. At the 2010 Missouri Show-Me Games, Peebs and his 4x100 meter relay team set a new meet speed record. They shattered the old record by three seconds. In June of 2008 Peebs took gold in both the men's Long jump and the men's 400 meter race in the Mid-America outdoor championship. He also won a bronze medal in the 100 meter at the 2008 record-breaking attendance Kansas Relays. In 2009 he was the Mid-America outdoor Long jump champion and the 2nd place Mid-America outdoor 200 & 400 meter champion. In 2005, with an extremely sore and swollen Achilles heel, he managed to pull off a 3rd place Long jump victory in the Southwest Regional track & field championship. On August 8th, 2004, his relay team, Mach II Sprint Club of America, won the Master's National title in the men's 4x400 meter relay as well.
